A Brain DAVF (Dural Arteriovenous Fistula) is an abnormal connection between arteries and veins located in the covering (dura) of the brain. Unlike AVM, DAVF does not have a true nidus but involves abnormal shunting into venous sinuses.

Pulsatile tinnitus (whooshing sound in ear)

Headache

Visual disturbances

Brain hemorrhage (in high-risk types)

Some DAVFs are benign, while others with cortical venous reflux carry a high risk of bleeding and require urgent treatment.
